Women's Empowerment Conference is an event held for high school students and I was asked to make a logo for it. 

The conference is a weekend event with different workshops about gender norms and women empowerment.  There are speakers, activities, and movie screenings. The Women In Power club puts on the event and wanted a logo to help viewers visualize the event's mission.

The logo mainly needed to show unity and inclusion. I had original designs that were very female focused but the client wanted more gender neutral imagery to appeal to everyone. I made the logo purple because it symbolizes power and ambition and is often associated with dignity and independence. To get a better idea of what the design would look like in real life, I put together a mock up of some items used in a conference setting.
